“Verified” means something different on every matrimony site. On VivahSangini it means specific, checkable things: your mobile number is confirmed with a one-time code, and a person on our team reviews every profile before it appears in search. Here is exactly how that works.
Four steps, in order
Mobile number, confirmed first
Before an account is created, we send a one-time code to the mobile number and it has to be entered back. If you add an email address, you can confirm it the same way. This alone stops most throwaway and duplicate profiles.
Every profile reviewed by a person
A new profile does not appear in search until someone on our team has looked at it: that the details make sense, the photo is appropriate, there are no phone numbers or links hidden in the text, and it is not a duplicate of an existing profile.
Further details checked on request
You can ask our team to check more — for example your education or employment — by writing to us. Each detail we confirm is added to your profile, and nothing is marked confirmed unless we have actually checked it.
Badges show exactly what was checked
Every profile shows its verification level, so other members can see at a glance what has been confirmed and what has not, and decide for themselves how much that matters.
Three trust levels, shown on every profile
No profile hides its status. What is confirmed and what is not is visible before you ever send an interest.

What we ask for, and what we keep private
No Aadhaar or ID card needed
You do not have to share any government ID to use VivahSangini. A confirmed mobile number and a reviewed profile are all it takes to go live.
Your contact details stay private
Your mobile number and email are never shown on your profile. They are shared only when both sides have shown interest.
You decide who sees your photos
Choose per photo whether it is public, shared only on request, or reserved for paid members.
Hide or delete any time
Hide your profile from search whenever you need a break, or delete your account and profile from your settings.
Verification is one layer, not the whole safety net
Photos are checked and consent-gated. Every uploaded photo is checked when it is added, and you choose per photo whether it is public, shared only on request, or reserved for paid members.
Contact only unlocks when it is mutual. Nobody gets your phone number or email just for having a paid plan — both sides have to have shown interest first.
Report and block, always available. Every profile and every conversation can be reported or blocked in a couple of taps, and a report goes to a person, not a queue nobody reads.
