Avoiding scams
Most matrimony scams follow the same script.
Someone builds trust quickly, then a sudden problem needs money. Knowing the pattern is the best protection. These are the warning signs, and the rules that keep you safe.
Never send money
Not for a customs fee on a gift, a medical emergency, a visa, a stuck bank transfer or a “business opportunity”. A genuine match will never ask someone they have not met for money. This one rule stops nearly every scam.
Never share codes or passwords
Nobody from VivahSangini will ever ask for your OTP, password or bank details — not by phone, email or WhatsApp. Anyone who does is not us. The same goes for UPI PINs and card numbers.
