  • Modern design

What to include in a Muslim biodata

  • Full name, date of birth, height and marital status.
  • Sect or community (for example Sunni, Shia, Bohra, Pathan) under “Caste / community”.
  • Education, occupation and, if you wish, income.
  • Father’s and mother’s names and occupations, brothers and sisters, and where the family lives.
  • A few lines about yourself — values, practice of faith and what you are looking for in a spouse.
  • A modest, recent photo and the family’s contact number.

Tips

Leave the Horoscope section empty — it is left off the biodata automatically when blank. Use “About me” and “About the family” for details families often ask about, such as religious practice, family background or whether the family is open to proposals from other cities.

The Simple design prints well in black and white; the Modern design suits sharing on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to add horoscope details?

No. Apart from the basic details and education, every section is optional, and empty sections do not appear on the biodata at all.

Can the biodata be in Urdu?

Headings are available in English and Hindi. You can type names and the “about” text in any language, and the Word download lets you edit headings freely.

Is the biodata maker really free?

Yes. Making, previewing and downloading the biodata as PDF, Word or an image costs nothing. There is no watermark across the page — just a small footer line, which you can switch off.

Do I need to sign up?

No sign-up is needed to fill in the biodata and see the preview. When you download, we ask you to verify a mobile number or email with a one-time code and to agree to the terms. That also creates a VivahSangini profile for you, which stays hidden until you choose to complete it.

Which formats can I download?

A PDF for printing and email, a Word (.docx) file you can edit further, and a JPG image that is easy to share on WhatsApp. All three use the same details and design.
